Taylor Murphy (USA) - Master Esthetician
Taylor Murphy grew up in Goldsboro, North Carolina. She graduated from Pitt Community College in Greenville with an Associates degree in Applied Science. Taylor had originally thought of becoming an ultrasound technician. However, while working part time for Lancôme, she discovered that she really enjoyed helping customers with their makeup and thus her passion for the beauty industry was ignited.
Taylor then attended the Esthetic Arts program at Edgecombe Community College in Tarboro, NC. She graduated in 2018 with her Basic Esthetics diploma. During college, Taylor also worked as a salon coordinator at WISO Salon to gain experience within the industry. One of the areas that she felt passionate about was working with young people to help improve their acne and overall health. Taylor empathizes with young people going through difficulties with their skin, as she herself experienced acute acne as a teenager.
In the summer of 2019, Taylor moved to Northern Virginia to be closer to family. She attended the Dermal Science International Aesthetics Academy in Reston, VA, where she graduated in March 2020 with a Master of Esthetics. Taylor joined Nicola of London in April 2020. Due to the pandemic, she was able to get lots of extra practice and coaching from Nicky! She is excited to meet you and take care of your skin care needs.
Carole Butler (USA) - Salon Coordinator
Carole Butler joined Nicola of London in March of 2002 having spent two years as a cosmetic consultant prior to joining our team. This experience made her a natural fit to our salon.
She enjoys meeting new people and takes a personal interest in all our clients. Carole is committed to making sure their experiences at NOL exceed their expectations. She has a strong customer service ethic which makes her a great asset to NOL.
Over time she has learned to appreciate the value of NOL's products and anti-aging treatments, which help her to maintain her youthful appearance.
Felicia French (USA) - Master Esthetician & Certified Lash Technician
We are excited to have Felicia as part of the Nicola of London team. Felicia is a Licensed Master Esthetician and Certified Lash Technician who graduated with honors from Dermal Science International in Reston, VA.
Born in Seoul, Korea, Felicia moved to the United States as a child where she spent most of her life in Virginia Beach, VA. She attended Thomas Nelson College in Hampton, VA, and went on to pursue a career in nursing care, working with severely disabled patients at Norfolk General in 2006. Felicia and her family moved to the DC metro area when her husband was transferred to Indian Head Naval Base.
Felicia then made the transition from healthcare to the beauty industry, bringing with her over a decade of healthcare expertise. As a teen, Felicia experienced acne and now specializes in acne treatment for all ages. She loves all things beauty and has an extensive knowledge of makeup application and lash extension services in addition to being a highly-trained skin care esthetician skilled in determining the best service for each of her clients.
Felicia continually keeps up with the latest beauty and skin care techniques. She looks forward to meeting and working with all of you to achieve your beauty and skin care goals.
Samantha ("Sam") Chambers (USA) - Master Esthetician & Licensed Massage Therapist
In September 2016 we welcomed Samantha (“Sam”) Chambers to the Nicola of London team. Sam was born and raised in Herndon, Virginia. She started her professional career as a Physical Therapy Aide at Commonwealth Orthopedics in 2007. As Sam gained experience working with clients facing pain, she realized that her passion was to help people achieve health and well-being.
She decided to enroll in the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage. After graduating as a Licensed Massage Therapist, she continued to work with physical therapists treating clients’ pain as well as promoting relaxation through massage. Sam offers Swedish, Deep Tissue and Sports massage, in addition to all of our skin and body treatments, and can customize your treatment to your specific needs.
Sam then expanded her training, education and experience to include skin care. She received her Master Esthetics from Dermal Science International. Her skin care specialty is treating acne, as she dealt with this condition herself during high school.
Sam understands the importance of keeping the mind, body and skin healthy. She firmly believes in the healing power of touch and the positive effect it has on the body as a whole. Sam loves being creative and coming up with new ways and technologies to treat different skin conditions. She is looking forward to meeting and working with all of you to achieve your body and skin care goals.
Lily Nguyen (USA) - Certified Lash/Brow Artist
Lily Nguyen rejoined the team at Nicola of London in July 2016. We are excited to have her back. Lily first came to the company in 2000 as our Salon Coordinator while she finished her degree in Business and Communications at Northern Virginia Community College.
Lily returned to the area from Phoenix, Arizona. She worked with Dr. Kwon's Dermatology practice and saw many different skin conditions. It was then she realized the importance of good skincare maintenance. Lily also gained valuable knowledge in business management working with Tru|Med Supplies.
She is a Certified Lash/Brow Artist, a new service we are thrilled to be able to offer our clients. Customer service is her number one goal. She strives to exceed clients'
expectations at every visit.
